About the RotoBed Home Rotating Chair Bed
The RotoBed range of rotating chair beds are designed to enable independence, helping you to get out of bed at the push of a button. Thoughtful, stylish design and upholstery options ensure you can customise your bed to fit seamlessly with you home and bedroom interiors. By a single touch of a button on the remote control, the mattress platform is transformed from a lying position to a chair facing out into your room. It takes less than one minute.
RotoBed beds have been carefully engineered and comprehensively tested to ensure you feel supported and comfortable throughout the rotation form chair to bed. You can choose for the chair to rotate to either an oblique or perpendicular exit. The oblique exit position is particularly helpful for transferring to a walker or a wheelchair.
The RotoBed Home has been thoughtfully designed to be in-keeping with the home environment. Elegantly shaped wood as well as an unobtrusive upholstered low footboard with colour options make for an impressive item of furniture
The RotoBed Home can be positioned at three different height levels for optimum access. This feature also ensures the Home can be adapted to suit different heights of user.
A range of optional accessories enable you to enhance the RotoBed experience even further. Add-ons include a reading lamp, under bed lighting that turns on as the bed rotates to exit position, arm side table and pillow with backrest securing straps.
All of the RotoBed's come with a mattress as standard. The SafeSleep Mattress is a four layer quality mattress, offering prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers in stages 1-3.

For taller users 5Ft 8 - 6Ft, then select the 10cm Length Extension
For users between 6Ft - 6Ft 5, add the 20cm Length Extension

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Is the handset easy to use?
Yes, the handset has been carefully designed so it is very simple and comprehensive to use. The back and leg adjustments are made with remote control, aswell as switching from the bed position to an upright chair. In addition, there is also a wireless remote control option available.
Is there a mattress included in the price of my purchase?
Yes, as standard the RotoBed® Home comes with a static, layered foam pressure care mattress.
Does a warranty come with the bed?
All our profiling and adjustable beds are covered by a 3-year warranty which includes 3 years parts and 1-year labour cover. We offer two upgrade plans (read more) if you would like to buy additional cover for your Opera bed.
Does the RotoBed assist with standing?
The RotoBed once rotated outwards does not have any functional riser component, like a normal riser recliner chair would have. The user if wishing to remain independent will have to stand from a seated position.
Can I fit my transfer table under the footplate of the RotoBed once it is rotated outwards?
When the RotoBed is fully rotated outwards the leg plate will be almost touching the ground, making it difficult for a transfer aid to fit directly under the footplate. However, the footplate can be elevated slightly, making it more accessible. Please speak to one of our product advisors for more information.
