About the RotoBed Free Rotating Chair Bed
Experience independence and enhance mobility levels with the RotoBed Free. The rotating chair bed with a harmonious design that elevates to a chair position in a smooth and comfortable motion. The RotoBed Free's electric height adjustment has many benefits. It can be utilised to ease on-bed nursing, is a great help with arranging bedding and can be raised when in the exit chair position to help you to stand.
By a single touch of a button on the remote control, the mattress platform is transformed from a lying position to a chair facing out into your room. It takes less than one minute. The height adjustment on the Free can also be used to support you when standing.
The Free has been thoughtfully designed to be in-keeping with the home environment. Elegantly shaped wood and upholstered ends with colour options make for an impressive item of furniture.
RotoBed beds have been carefully engineered and comprehensively tested to ensure you feel supported and comfortable throughout the rotation from chair to bed. Stylish wooden arm sides also provide assistance and help to prevent falls.
Castors at each corner of the RotoBed Free ensure the bed can be manoeuvred easily. The robust castor wheels can be braked by a simple foot pedal at each end of the bed that locks off the pair of castors in one go.
A range of optional accessories enable you to enhance the RotoBed experience even further. Add-ons include a reading lamp, under bed lighting that turns on as the bed rotates to exit position, arm side table and pillow with backrest securing straps.
Mattress Included*
All of the RotoBed's come with a mattress as standard. The SafeSleep Mattress is a four layer quality mattress, offering prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers in stages 1-3.

Note that the standard RotoBed size is intended for users up to 5 Ft 8.
For taller users 5Ft 8 - 6Ft, then select the 10cm Length Extension
For users between 6Ft - 6Ft 5, add the 20cm Length Extension

Is there a mattress included with my purchase?
Yes, as standard the RotoBed Free comes with a static, layered foam pressure care mattress.
Is the handset easy to use?
Yes, the handset has been carefully designed so it is very simple and comprehensive to use. The back and leg adjustments are made with remote control, aswell as switching from the bed position to an upright chair. The control simply clips onto the side of the bed which fits in seamlessly with the design.
Does a warranty come with this bed?
All our profiling and adjustable beds are covered by a 3-year warranty which includes 3 years parts and 1-year labour cover. We offer two upgrade plans (read more) if you would like to buy additional cover for your Opera bed.
