About the Solo Comfort Profiling Bed
If you or your loved one requires advanced care at home, the Solo profiling floor bed is a great solution. The Solo has an incredibly low floor height which makes it suitable for persons with Dementia and other cognitive conditions. The Solo is classed as a floor bed which gives a safe sleeping height and reduces the risk of injury from bed falls. The profiling bed has an ‘all-in-one’ height range where the whole bed can raise up to waist level, and lower down to the floor.
The Solo Comfort eliminates fall injuries due to its incredibly low floor height of just 11c. This reduces the need for side rails and makes the Solo an ideal profiling care bed for users with dementia.
The Solo Comfort is able to be raised up to 73.5cm for delivering on bed nursing care whilst also allowing for unrestricted hoist access.
The Solos advanced auto-regression profiling technology prevents stomach compression and enhanced user comfort.
The Solo Comfort can accommodate taller users with an additional 20cm of length with the Solos integral length extension for optimum comfort.
The Solo's Anti-Trendelenburg feature provides postural support, enhanced comfort and helps respiration and circulation.
The Solo Collection features unrestricted clearance beneath the bed, this makes it much easier for hoist leg access.

Does this bed come with a mattress?
All our mattresses are sold separately due to each person having different pressure care needs and preferred firmness.
Can you have a handle or a loop at the side of the bed to help the user get in and out?
If a handle or loop is needed at the side of the bed to assist with getting in and out then we can supply the bed with a grab rail which can fit on either side of the bed in the desired position. (See Accessories)
Does this bed come with side rails?
The Solo Comfort Profiling Bed does not have side rails as the footboard is not high enough to accommodate the rails.
Is this bed available in a double width?
The Solo Comfort Profiling is not available in a double width. The reason for this is if the user requires on bed nursing by carers outside of the bed, this width would put a strain on the carers backs having to reach over.
Are the fabrics fluid resistant?
The fabrics used are a high-quality wool which means they are not fluid resistant or waterproof.
