About the Signature Low Footboard Profiling Bed
The pleasantly styled Signature Low Footboard is the perfect solution for care and nursing at home. As the name suggests, the low footboard provides an unrestricted view which is ideal if you like to watch tv in bed. The Signature Low Footboard has an extensive height, which we refer to as all-in-one. This allows the whole bed to be raised up to waist level and can lower close to floor level. The Signature Low Footboard comes with back and leg adjustment for comfort and support at the touch of a button.
The Signature Low Profiling Footboard has an extensive height range. It can be raised up to a carers waist level to facilitate nursing on the bed and can also be lowered close to the floor to ease getting in and out of bed.
The mattress platform on the bed is fully profiling. The backrest can be raised to a near upright position for sitting up in the bed. The elevating Knee-break and footrest provide postural support and improve circulation.
Users can benefit from more room in bed with a choice of wider width options - Single (90cm/3ft) Wide Single (105cm/3ft6in) Small Double (120cm/4ft)
The low footboard means there is an unrestricted access to the floor end of the bed, this is useful for lower body care and also means the user has a clear sight line out of the bed, ideal for watching TV or looking out of the window.
The Signature Low Footboard is controlled through an ergonomically designed handset with rounded edges and soft touch buttons. The handset has a locking feature that allows the operator to deactivate all or certain functions to ensure users safety.

Does a mattress come with the Signature Low Footboard
No, The Signature Low Footboard comes without a mattress. We have two mattress types available which are our Pressure Care Mattresses and Comfort Mattresses. Pressure care mattresses are suitable for those who are subject to developing pressure sores or have existing ones. Our adjustable comfort mattresses are designed for comfort and support and come in a variety of fillings.
Does the Signature Low Footboard come with rails?
No, the Signature Low Footboard does not come with rails. This is because the footboard is too low to accommodate rails attaching to the side.
Can you have a handle or loop at the side of the bed to help the user get in and out?

Is this bed available in a double width?
The Signature Low Footboard Profiling is not available in a double width. The bed is available in a 4ft Small double which is for one-person use only. The 4ft width is not suitable for two people.
Can I use fitted sheets with this bed?
Both flat and fitted sheets are suitable to use with the Opera profiling beds. The mattress dimensions are 3ft/3ft6/4ft x 6ft6.
