About the Signature Comfort Dual Profiling Bed
The Signature Comfort Dual has an extensive height range of 245 - 730mm. The whole bed can be raised and lowered for facilitating nursing care on the bed and easing getting in and out of the bed.
The bed features two 5-section independent mattress platforms, allowing each sleeper to adjust their position in bed without affecting the other occupant.
The Signature Comfort Dual has been thoughtfully designed for homely environments The advanced medical functionality. Has been softened with plush, upholstered surrounds that can be customised with headboards and upholstery options.
Each mattress platform is controlled by a premium, ergonomic handset with rounded edges and soft touch buttons. The handset features a locking setting which allows the operator or carer to deactivate functions where there may be safety concerns.
The bed is upholstered in Britain using high quality materials that balance durability with comfort and aesthetics.
Unlike many profiling care beds, the Signature Comfort Dual features a low footboard to provide unobstructed views and prevent any possible feeling of entrapment

Do both sides of the bed move when it is raised?
The Signature Comfort Dual has two individual mattress platforms, this allows each user to control their bed separately using their own handset. When the bed is raised or lowered the whole bed moves as one.
Are the mattresses independent of each other? Yes, each person in the bed will have complete control of their matttress, allowing them to put them and only them in a desired position, such as the back incline or a leg elevation.

Can you have a handle or loop at the side of the bed to help get in and out?
If a handle or loop is needed at the side of the bed to assist with getting in and out then we can supply the bed with a grab rail which can fit on either side of the bed in the desired position. (See Accessories)
What happens to my profiling bed during a power cut?
In the event of a power cut, the profiling beds have a 29v battery back-up which has enough power to get the bed back into a flat position.
Does this bed come with mattresses? No, you will have to purchase separately two 3ft size mattresses. They can be either a comfort mattress or a pressure care mattress.
