Yes, the eFoldi Explorer Battery can be charged "off board", which means you can take the battery off the scooter, leaving your scooter perhaps folded up in your car etc, and then simply just take the lightweight battery inside to charge.

How long does the battery take to charge?

We usually recommend that customers try and avoid always running their battery completely flat. But if the battery does run flat, then to fully recharge the battery it can take anywhere between 6-8 hours.

How Heavy is the battery?

The eFoldi Explorer Battery is very lightweight, only weighing in at around 1.8kg, making it easy to lift, carry and transport.

Why is the warranty only 6 months on new batteries?

All manufacturers will only provide a 50% warranty length to whatever the warranty is of the main product for the battery. This is because manufacturers recognise that batteries can be neglected by the user forgetting to maintain the batteries charge. If a use neglects to charge their batteries for 2 or 3 months, then the batteries can drain and become ineffective.
