The Explorer is a multi-award-winning road-legal mobility scooter. Lightweight, safe and able to travel up to 8mph with a range of 14 miles, this ground-breaking scooter can bring you a new sense of freedom.
While the Explorer is an ideal scooter for both road and pavement travel, you are not limited in terms of convenience. This road-legal mobility scooter can fold and unfold in seconds and weighs only 17 kg (without battery). If you want to take it with you on public transport, put it into the boot of a car or simply bring it with you anywhere, it's very easy and convenient to do. Unique patented design gives low weight in a durable and fully featured scooter for travel and everyday use. Weighing only 17 kg (without battery) the eFOLDi Explorer is a fully featured scooter for the most demanding user. The eFOLDi Explorer will fit snugly into the boot of even the smallest car, easily manageable for travel by train, plane or bus. A low centre of gravity, pneumatic tyres and an immensely strong and rigid forged aluminium alloy frame gives strength and stability.
4-point floating seat suspension and pneumatic tyres give a smooth and comfortable ride. Easy to fold and unfold, easy to drive and fully airline compliant for travel. Near silent integrated Superpower high torque 240-watt motor - climbs 1:6 gradients with ease.

Does the Explorer come with a battery?
Yes, the eFoldi Explorer comes as standard supplier with 1 battery. You can purchase an additional battery should you wish to have a spare or replacement on hand. Please see the accessories tab above.
Is the Explorer Road Legal?
Due to the Explorer being able to reach top speeds of 8 mph makes the mobility scooter road legal, meaning that should you wish, you can ride the mobility scooter on the roads when going faster.
How comfortable is the Explorer?
The Explorer isn't designed to offer the user the ultimate level of comfort when compared to alternative larger 8 mph models. It is however, designed to be extremely practical, offering users range, speed and power, all whilst still being able to fold up and be transported. You can add the specifically designed eFoldi Explorer Comfort Cushion, which will provide the user more cushioning and comfort. Please see the accessories tab above.
Is the Explorer Stable?
The Explorer although it is a three wheel mobility scooter is still fantastically stable. The user should always drive with common sense and care.
Does it come with suspension?
The Explorer has springs underneath the seat of the user, providing another layer of comfort when riding around.
Can I take this on an airplane for holiday?
Yes, the eFoldi Explorer is airline approved, so can be taken away on holiday with you. We would advise purchasing the eFoldi Protection Cover when travelling to keep your scooter safe and all your belongings together. Please see the accessories tab above.
Does a charger come with this scooter?
Yes, a charger and battery are supplied as standard. We always advise the customer charge their battery frequently to maintain the life of the battery
I'm taller than 6ft, will the Explorer be comfortable for my leg length?
The eFoldi Explorer is stil suitable for taller users. What we have found is that the taller users will benefit from purchasing the additional eFoldi Comfort Cushion, as this will raise them slightly higher, giving their legs more room. Furthermore, we would recommend purchasing the eFoldi Explorer Foot Peg Extensions.
