About the Wheelchair Lap Belt
A Lap Belt is for those who are wishing to provide the wheelchair user with additional support and stability as it keeps the users hips and pelvis towards the back of the chair. Furthermore, the user will remain safely in the wheelchair should you ever encounter any steep declines or obstacles which put the user at risk.
The Lap Belt easily fits to the back rest of any wheelchair and adjusts easily in length to suit different sized users. Fastening around the waist with a double adjustable snap lock fastener, the user or attendant can easily and quickly release the belt in a case of an emergency for example.
