Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Is the seat height adjustable and does it swivel?
Yes, the seat is both height adjustable and will swivel to allow the user to get on and off the scooter more easily. The arm rests also lift up and can be removed to aid with transferring and storage.
Can I fit bigger batteries onto this scooter to make it go further?
Unfortunately this can't be done, as it will void the warranty.
Am I able to replace the wheels or tyres on this scooter to fit pneumatic tyres?
Yes, this is possible. We would advise speaking to our aftersales team who can help you identify which is the right tyres you will need.
Does the Virgo come with a light?
The Virgo doesn't come with a head light i'm afraid. You can however decide to purchase from a "bike" light which can be easily fitted to your mobility scooter.
Is the basket detachable?
Yes, you can simply slide the basket off the front of the tiller.
Is this scooter good for very steep hilly areas?
The Virgo will be able to tackle moderate hills, but with a smaller motor compared to some of the larger mobility scooters, it may not be the best bet when wanting something that gives you confidence for tackling steep hills day in day out.
